At school we are doing Little Shop of Horrors, which means that I have been listening to the music a lot in preparation. As a result, the girls have started asking questions. 

“What is Skid Row?”

“Why does the plant like to eat people?”

“What does ‘semi sadist’ mean?”

So it brings up a lot of questions. A lot of them about how scary the plant is. I thought the best way to answer that was to just get them to see it. 

Today the whole family went to see the puppets. They had a great time looking at them and playing with them. Liam just had fun scooting around the big empty stage. McKelvey’s reaction when I opened the mouth of the biggest plant was:

“It’s like a rowboat with teeth.”

So we were listening toThe Best of the Smiths, Vol. 1 yesterday while cleaning up after dinner. Arden said all of a sudden, “This is the best music of my whole life!”

I have posted a video of Liam crawling. Although since he doesn’t get all the way on his knees, it is more like scooting.

Well sickness has traveling thru our family. Arden was sick last week, she missed school(one of her favorite activities) all week and she was getting better by the weekend, that is when Liam and McKelvey started getting sick. Now Liam is recovering, McKelvey is still down for the count and Ann is sick as well.

I just brewed a big pot of echinacea tea and am looking for the Vitamin C…

Arden turned 4 on Twelfth Night, and her party was last week. And she had a Garden Fairy Party. It was fun, although we spent nights earlier in the week making fairy wands and crowns that were given out. Of course there are pictures.

Arden was standing on our coffee table (glass topped) and said I’m being lifted by my prince. When Ann said to get off the table (because of the glass top) she went and stood o the sofa and said: “i’m being lifted by my prince.”
