Very insightful. Unfortunately, due to my iffy internet connection I was unable to see the end of his talk. But I would like your opinion on his talk as an artist and art educator. Isnt he mistaking critical thinking for being creative?
What I mean to say is that he mistakes ‘creative’ thinking for ‘artistic’ thinking
What I get from it is that schools shouldn’t be about memorization of info but teaching the skills one needs to figure out new solutions to problems. Creative problem solving rather than artistic creation.
