At school we are doing Little Shop of Horrors, which means that I have been listening to the music a lot in preparation. As a result, the girls have started asking questions.

While walking McKelvey to school today

McKevley: ” Dad, I want to grow up and be a teenager forever and not a grown up.”
Me: “Why do you want to be a just a teenager?”
McKevley: ” Teenagers can get to do things, grown ups have to do things.”
I couldn’t argue with that.
